Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3: 5-6 NIV
God knows how to fill us with peace that passes all understanding. He opens our hearts to be humbled for Him, as we learn how it feels to trust. He helps us find strength in His presence and recognize why we need Him.
In the ups and downs and in between, He is with us! In the weary times of wonder, He is with us! In joyful moments of praise, He is with us! And even when we cannot understand the power of His plan, He is with us!
We were created to love the Lord with ALL of our hearts. But sometimes we forget to seek Him. God is deserving of so much more than mere morsels of love. He longs to be the source of our HOPE; the Provider of PEACE, the Planner who manages lives and the Giver of needed STRENGTH.
If we pray only in times of need, we will forget God longs for us to seek Him EVERY DAY. He will reward the love of our faithfulness and provide strength in the prayers of our PRAISE! He will show us how to welcome a grateful heart and remember who is handling our days.
God will reveal His plan for our lives! He will allow us to receive what He provides. His mercies are new EACH and EVERY morning. If we stay connected, we will witness the power of His love. We will never have to experience life on our own. God will show us what will happen when we trust in Him. There will never be day without the goodness of His greatness in our lives.
Dear God, thank you for opening our eyes to Your presence each and every day. Thank you for cradling us in care and working in our lives. Help us remember to seek YOU first as we embrace what You provide. We will give You the glory in ALL things and humble our hearts for You. We will find strength in Your presence and embrace this day with the love of a grateful heart. And we will remember why we need the power of Your everlasting love EVERY SINGLE MOMENT OF OUR LIVES. Thank you, Lord. Thank you! We will give You our praise as we remain faithful! Amen
