We can ask for whatever we want, knowing that God will not give us anything bad for us, but only what is good. (Luke 11:11–13)

God sometimes answers, ’no’ and we become frustrated when things don’t go as planned. But His timing is not our own. He knows what will happen in our days and knows what is best for our lives. He guides and provides, no matter what!

As we make requests known, we forget to ask for wisdom and strength. We race through quiet moments meant to welcome peace and neglect to ask God to do what He's promised through Jesus. We need to be reminded His plans are made in accordance with His will.

God longs for us to desire what will glorify Him and provide what is best. Jeremiah 29:11 NLT says, For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. God will answer “yes” when He has readied us to step with Jesus and armed us with everything we need to TRUST.

As we learn to be obedient, God will help us see how it feels to walk with the One who knows where to go. We will experience how to faithfully follow. God will guide us in the right direction. He will nurture love of our faithfulness and help us discover passion, purpose and joy.

If we truly believe God knows what’s best for our lives, He will give us desire to keep on going. even when Christ leads us on a different path. We must “never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God. He knows what He’s doing. He will reveal His will when the timing is right. Surely, He will reward the love of our faithfulness.

Always keep on praying…1 Thessalonians 5: 17 TLB

Dear God, thank you for waking us to another day of opportunity to be loved by You. Lift us where we see glimpses of what’s ahead. Teach us to TRUST in the power of Your will and help us find strength in Your presence of peace. We will welcome HOPE that is found in You and never forget how much we are loved. And we will praise You always, even when Your answer to prayer is “no”. Thank you,Lord! Thank you, Amen
