Today many of us will worship at home and honor the decision to not attend church. As the Corona virus continues to spread, it’s become difficult to sort out what we know. We’re beginning to experience significant change in our routines. But God knows the heart of our circumstances. And as we allow Jesus to bring PEACE in His presence, we see where strength is found.

God provides what we need to keep going. He helps us persevere. He gives wisdom to be guided by truth and knows how to handle our fear. He hears our prayers and sees the depth of our wonder. He provides reassurance to be reminded we are not alone.

It's sad to be distanced from what we’ve known, but we CAN be the church no matter where we gather. God meets us where we are as we learn to COPE with HOPE. He prepares us to help others in their struggle and provides relief from the worry of our own.

Corrie ten Boom said, “Worry doesn’t empty tomorrow of its sorrows, it empties today of its strength.” We can find strength as we call on Jesus and remember who is handling our days. Today is the National Day of Prayer. Prayer is powerful and needed; especially in times of doubt. God will hear our prayers and humble our hearts to recognize why we need Him.

The future isn't clear, but God is HERE! HE is taking care of everything we need. We must TRUST in His power to save and PRAY for wisdom to be reminded HE will handle EVERY single thing.

Jesus said, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16: 33. We must place this promise in our hearts and share HIS love with others. This is the day the Lord has made. Truly, it will make a difference if we honor Him with the prayers of our praise and choose to faithfully TRUST.

Dear God, Thank you for the blessing of each new day. As we stand in the presence of Your holiness, help us remember we are not alone. Open our hearts for Jesus and help us find ways to share how we COPE in HOPE. We will worship You with gladness and find strength from Your mercy and grace. Bind us together with the love of our FAITH. And help us remember there is always a reason to PRAY. Thank you, Lord. Thank you! Amen
