“Take a guard,” Pilate answered. “Go make the tomb as secure as you know how.” So, they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting the guard. Matthew 27:65-66

Jesus said He would rise. His disciples hid in fear and contemplated what had happened. The loss of our Savior crippled their thoughts, while they waited in grief and despair.

Often our lives are put on hold while we WAIT in times of wonder. But because of Jesus, we can find HOPE in the promise of new life and receive strength from the One whose power is made perfect in our weakness.

As we consider the resurrection, we need time to reminded God IS with us. He is HERE in the midst of our pain. And as we experience trials which can't be handled alone, He humbles our hearts for His. He gives is reason to trust in His mercy and grace.

God knows our hearts. He sees inside the fear which robs our wholeness and knows how to mend broken hearts. The Bible says, The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18

The seasons of our lives will bring uncertainty. We will deal with sadness and pain. Our lives will change but God will not. He will open our eyes to the power of His love while we WAIT for better days to come.

We must welcome HOPE with FAITH in the Father. He is in charge of our days. We mustn't worry about the tomorrows God has already planned. He will remove our fear and replace it with calm, if we let Him handle our days and find courage while we WAIT with patience.

In times of trouble, Christ will draw us closer to His love. He will help us surrender anxious thoughts and find strength from the prayers of our praise. He will find the way to help us remember there IS power in God's amazing love. And He WILL remove all fear, because HE lives in us !

Dear God, Humble our hearts for Jesus. Help us examine our lives and welcome Your strength, when we must WAIT in difficult circumstances. Help us remember what Jesus did for each one of us. Humble our hearts to welcome the offering of peace. Help us remember Your will was fulfilled when He died on the cross. And give us strength to see where HOPE is found, because of His resurrection . Thank you, Lord. Thank you for loving us through the WAIT. We will believe better days will come and try, try, try; even when it’s hard. Amen
