“Perfect Love Casts Out All Fear” 1 John 4:18

“We were born to be real, not to be perfect.” Sometimes we put expectations on ourselves and feel as if we don’t measure up. We waste time worrying, instead of praying God will help us see WHY we are worthy, treasured and loved.

He longs for us to know we're valued. He heals wounded hearts, bandage sores of the soul and helps us find the STRENGTH we need. He gives courage to admit we’re weak and helps us learn about Jesus.

Jesus love us! His encounters on earth were not just for people who had it together. He went to many lengths to reach those who needed to understand the love of mercy and grace. He reminds us His love is forever…

Christ wants us to remember we were created for so much more...And, we’re NOT the only ones who deal with anxiety and pain. Jesus gives courage to examine our lives and recognize we need Him. He removes the loneliness and shame.

None of us are deserving of this type of love, but that is what we’re promised! When we come to the conclusion we can’t make it on our own, God honors our humbleness! He pulls us from despair and lifts us back where we belong. He allows us to see what fear has stolen and knows how to guide us back to calm. Because we are loved, we don’t have to listen to lies!

We must bravely say, “enough is enough.” We don’t have to be prisoners of anxiety! Jesus bled and died to provide HOPE for the future. He came to SAVE each and every one. We will never be too far away when we pray to be rescued.

No matter what we’re going through, God will guide and provide. He will place desire in our hearts to fear NO MORE! Everything that happens will make us more Christlike and diminish sadness inside, if we TRUST in the promises of God and choose to BELIEVE He will handle EVERY SINGLE SEASON of our lives.

Dear God, thank you for helping us remember we don’t have to be perfect to be loved by You. Open our eyes and help us see ourselves as You see us, worthy of faithful love! Strengthen us by the power of Your will and help us find PEACE in Jesus. We will surrender fear and wait for JOY to return where it belongs. Thank you, Lord. Thank you! YOU are so much bigger than our struggles. Thank you for reminding us we are worthy of Your never failing love. Amen
