I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you…Ephesians 1: 18 NIV

When we pray, sometimes we forget God is waiting for us to experience the power of His presence. He’s ready to listen, even before we speak. He hears our prayers. His arms are open wide to cradle us in His care.

Oh, how we need to be held by His holiness; tethered to the heart of His love, calmed by the peace of His presence and reassured that no matter what HE IS WITH US! He knows the desires of our hearts and responds as we seek Him. He has a plan for our days.

God prepares us to receive timely rewards. We have been created for His great purpose. He helps us learn to TRUST. He humbles our hearts to remain faithful and remember who’s in charge of ALL things. He reminds us who is working for the good, even when circumstances are difficult.

Prayer will lead us to a heart of praise. When we’ve learned to embrace an attitude of gratitude, God will show us the JOY of living for Him. He will prepare us for blessings and reward. As we welcome the power of His will, He will open the eyes of our hearts and allow us to see why He is faithful.

We mustn’t doubt His ability to take care of those He loves. If we truly believe God is with us, EVERY moment of closeness with guide us toward the offering of HOPE. We must surrender doubt and open our hearts. God will help us see what He wants us to notice. He is God! He WILL bring PEACE in His presence. It is what we need to experience the MIRACLE of His everlasting love.

Dear God, help us remember who’s in charge of our days. Remind us we don’t have to figure out everything on our own. We will give You our praise and learn to be patient as we wait for direction in our lives. Thank you for holding us and giving us glimpses of good! Open our eyes to the beauty of Your timely rewards. We will be faithful and never doubt Your ability to love us through whatever happens in our lives. Thank you, Lord! Thank you for preparing us for what's to come. Amen

~It has been three months since our dad passed away. This photo was taken during a Dad and Daughter Week. What an honor it is to share it today as we remember the life of our dear father. If you look closely, you’ll see why he loved it so much…♥
