He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. 3 And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18: 2-4 NIV

If we could see Jesus through the eyes of the children, we wouldn’t doubt the goodness of His love. Little ones wait for Christmas with tender hearts of JOY and anticipate the celebration of His birth.

This has been a season of worry, illness, loss and doubt. It’s been difficult to deal with hardships which have affected us and those we love.  But God continues to love us through every situation as we remain faithful and TRUST.

Jesus brings PEACE in His presence. He knows the heart of our pain. God sent Him to witness the trials we face and remind us who came to SAVE. He gives STRENGTH to endure and continues to handle the happenings of our days.

God will humble our hearts. He will help us love like the children; with hearts that are open and pure. As we prepare to welcome Christmas, we WILL experience JOY as we honor our King! Jesus is deserving of ALL of our love, praise and adoration. He will prepare us for what’s to come. HE will be our PEACE, in the midst of EVERYTHING we experience.

We will never fully witness a season of GOOD until we embrace child- like faith and thank God for ALL He provides. JESUS is the BEST gift of Christmas!  He is HERE and HE LOVES US. He will help us recognize WHY we need the glory of celebration EVERY day of our lives.

Dear God, thank you for Your presence. Open our eyes so we will clearly see how to welcome Jesus with humbled hearts of PRAISE.  Help us love like the children; with gladness and JOY! As we reflect on His birth, help us remember PEACE WILL COME, if we seek You with all of our hearts and remain faithful.  Thank you, Lord! We BELIEVE in the power of Your love. We’re so GRATEFUL to celebrate this season with joyful anticipation and welcome the fullness of Christmas.  Thank you, Lord! Amen
