I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness. John 12:46

Christmas can be hard for those who experience difficulties. But Jesus knows the need of those who long to find comfort and strength. He helps us remember we're not alone. He fills us with peace and warms us with the light of His love. He helps us find courage and calm. 

As we prepare for Christmas, we need to ready our hearts to welcome Christ. As we examine our lives, we need to remember God sent His Son to bring PEACE and HOPE for the future. He has a plan for our days and longs for us to experience how it feels to receive His love.

Christmas is more than one day of celebration. It is a season of opportunity to discover the love of Jesus and focus on the heart of our faith. The One who came to bring light to the darkness knows our pain and the sadness of shame. 

It’s never too late to discover what God has in store for each one of us as we welcome His abundant JOY. We must take time to notice the gifts of His greatness and experience the fullness of His love. 

If we dig down deep and humble our hearts, God will allow us to witness the miracle of Christmas. No matter what we are going though, He will ALWAYS be with us! Let us seek the Savior and never forget He is worthy of praise. “Joy to the world, the Lord has come. Let earth receive her King! Let EVERY heart prepare Him room.” He is HERE and HE loves us!  

Dear God, in humbled moments of need, we seek You with all of our hearts and pray for one another. We pray for PEACE, healing for the ill and HOPE as we witness the power of Your LOVE. Help us gratefully anticipate the arrival of Christmas, so we will be warmed by the light of Jesus and continue to be guided by His love. We will remember the miracle of His birth and make room for our Savior EVERY day of our lives.  Thank you for the gifts of Your greatness. YOU are SO deserving of our love and praise. Amen
