Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Psalm 51: 12 NIV

Jesus arrived in Jerusalem with shouts of praise and glory. He was welcomed with ‘’Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” Hallelujahs were heard from those who waited to welcome our King.

As we consider His journey to the cross, we recognize the depth of His love. Jesus knew He would be betrayed. He cried in knowing WHY we need to be saved.  He came righteous and victorious to fulfill God’s will with the gift of His LOVE forever...

"As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it, and said, "If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace--but now it is hidden from your eyes." Luke 19:41-42

Jesus took the sin of the world. God sent His Son to “fight the battle over death.” We should celebrate with prayers of praise, instead of forgetting why we should thank Him.

He will return one day. The King of kings, Lord of lords will rule and reign forever! We will ALWAYS need the PEACE of His presence as we follow Him and remember He is the way, the truth and the life.

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” John 14: 6 NLT

Jesus loves us! As we enter Holy Week, let’s open our hearts to consider the joy of our salvation and reflect on the cross. Christ is deserving of praise, hallelujahs and TRUST. This is the day the Lord has made! We will rejoice and be glad as we welcome the King of our hearts and invite Him to remain forever…

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. John 15: 13 NIV

Dear God, thank you for waking us, so we can praise You with the hallelujahs of our hearts. We will visit the cross as we journey together and humbly welcome JESUS. Help us remember why He laid down His life for each one of us. We will never forget what was accomplished by the power of Your plan. Thank you for our Savior! Humble our hearts to welcome His peace and bless us with His faithful love forever. Amen
