Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. Isaiah 46: 4 NIV

Sometimes we forget the Father of mercy is closer than we think. We forget who provides strength to sustain. But God helps us witness the love of Jesus and have a living relationship with Him. The One who knows what we NEED provides strength for our days. He reminds us we are valued and loved.   

With arms open wide, Jesus reaches us. He stretches as far as He can and longs for us to feel the love of His faithfulness. He opens the eyes of our hearts, so we will recognize why we NEED Him. H e helps us leave doubt behind. As we’re connected to the One who saves, we begin to understand the power of His greatness. When we stop making Him reach so far, we feel His presence of PEACE and find comfort to COME AS WE ARE to experience what WILL happen when we TRUST.

Jesus wants us to feel His love, but sometimes we allow shame to rob our gratitude as we consider what's already been done for EACH one of us. The Bible says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4: 6-7

God will open our hearts. There IS power in Jesus' name! As we pray for God’s guiding, He WILL help us see ourselves as He sees us; worthy and capable of fulfilling His will for our days. He will use us in mighty ways as we remain faithful and BELIEVE He WILL take care of us and those we love. 

We must be faithful and remember God is working for the GOOD.  He knows what He’s doing to bless our lives. It will honor Him if open our eyes, discover what He wants us to see and STOP being afraid to surrender doubt. It’s okay if we have to dig deep and truly examine our souls. It’s where we will find peace and welcome the LOVE of a grateful heart. 

God will take care of us and those we love. The time has come for us to welcome strength and witness JOY that will come when we're ready to RECEIVE. God knows how to humble our hearts for His greatness and help us remember there will never be a moment without His faithful LOVE.       

Dear God, thank you for opening our eyes for the blessing of this day. Forgive us when we try to handle life on our own. Renew our hearts with desire to TRUST in YOU and remember we are valued and loved. Remove the doubt which cripples our thoughts so we will see ourselves as YOU see us; able to fulfill Your will for our days. Open the eyes of our hearts so we will believe in what is GOOD and welcome the peace of a grateful heart. Thank you for the power of Your love. Thank you for what happens when we faithfully pray and BELIEVE You have a plan for the future. Amen
