Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him. 1 Chronicles 16:11 NLT

Summer will soon disappear. Leaves of green will display beautiful colors of fall and remind us cooler weather is on the way. Autumn is a favorite season for many. It brings opportunities for a change of pace and sets the stage for what’s to come.

There will always be changes in our lives. Sometimes they will be welcomed with gladness as we learn to TRUST. But sometimes we will need reminders that God IS in control, when we’re led from the comfort of routines.

God’s timing is not our own. When life affects our plans and we’re called to move in a new direction, He remains faithful to us. God provides courage and STRENGTH. He opens our hearts for clarity as we walk with Jesus and step in the footprints of PEACE.

As we welcome the newness of each and every morning, we must remember God’s promise to us. He will love us through every moment as we walk in faith and BELIEVE in the power of His greatness.

As we prayerfully embrace what He provides, God will help us examine our hearts and be reminded who handles our days. He has a plan and purpose for our lives. God will help us remember to look for the blessings. He WILL allow us to witness His faithful rewards as we WELCOME the love of each new season with a grateful heart.

There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens: Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NIV) As we remember God IS WITH US, He will prepare us to discover the fullness of His love. He will show HOW to welcome thankfulness when changes come. God will take care of us and those we love.

Dear God, thank you for the power of Your love. Thank you for the beauty of each new season. Help us faithfully TRUST in the timing of Your will. YOU are our constant source of STRENGTH. Thank you for the gifts of Your greatness. They bless us as we remain faithful when changes come. Thank you for knowing what we need to welcome gratitude. Thank you for opening our hearts for what is GOOD. Amen
