And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 ESV
Christ fills us with the strength of His love and readies us to receive Him. He prepares us to remember who’s in charge of all things. And, in tender moments of truth He reminds us why we must remain faithful.
When we have been held in the presence of His peace, Christ will lead
us to the cross. He will help us examine our lives, so we will recognize
He is the way to the Father. He will open the eyes of our hearts and
prepare us to discover the light of the world!
Some will dwell in darkness.They will not see the glimpses of HOPE God places in their hearts.They will forget to trust in the power of His love and miss opportunities to feel the strength of the Savior. But, those who humbly follow Christ will be blessed by the light of His love.They will stand in awe of God’s gift to the world and understand; peace comes in abundance.
God wants us to have an abundant life. The Bible says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. Old things have passed away and new things have come.” 2 Corinthians 5: 17
God gives opportunities to share His love. And, when we respond to His tugging of our hearts, He fills us with peace that passes all understanding. He arms us with everything we need to discover His blessings in our lives and He reminds us why we ALL need the Savior.
Dear God, Thank you for Jesus. We are humbled as we consider the cross and gratefully acknowledge the One who died in our place. We will open our hearts to the presence of Your peace and gratefully receive the abundance of Your love. And, when darkness tries to hold us in the worry of our wonder, we will trust in You, so Christ will lead us by the light of His love and guide us where HOPE is found in the strength of our faithfulness. Amen
