“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV 

God guides and provides for our lives. Our loving Father knows the plans He has for our days. He skillfully prepares us for what’s to come and finds the way to teach us how it feels to trust. 

TRUST is defined as a “firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something”. Often, we forget TRUST is needed to welcome peace. It readies the heart to persevere and provides the way for us to discover God's amazing love. It allows us to remember; we don’t have to try and figure out everything on our own. 

If every day was perfect, we would move ahead with ease and never recognize how it feels to worry. But, life doesn’t work that way. We will face unexpected circumstances as we journey ahead and need to be reminded to keep on going. God will lead us through the difficulties in our days. He will hold us by His love and draw us nearer to the presence of His peace, when we have recognized why we need Him. 

God knows the plans He has for His children. He will provide everything we need.He will lead us on a path of purpose and never fail to demonstrate the depth of His love. And, He will remind us; strength will come, if we choose to prepare our hearts and humbly receive Him. 

Dear God, Thank you for this day. Prepare us to move ahead, as we open our hearts to the guiding of Your will and faithfully TRUST in You. Amen
