He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might He increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:29 NIRV

God provides strength when we need to be readied to rise. He arms us with the power of love and prepares us to leave our place of comfort. Sometimes, He requires us to wait for a while, so we will feel His presence of peace and receive what He chooses to provide.

We find God’s strength when we recognize we need it. Sometimes, it's hard to discover why we’re not strong. But, in moments to reward the love of our faithfulness, God opens our hearts in truth. He helps us see beneath the layers of ourselves, so we will examine our lives and see why His strength is made stronger in weakness. (Read 2 Corinthians 12:8-10) “My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”

God will humble us. And, while we are held in moments of need, He will lift us right where we are. He will help us understand the need for His mercy and delight in the prayers of our hearts. He will increase our strength and remind us to wait on Him. And while we are cradled in care, He will fill us full of everything we need, so we will be stronger than before.

Dear God, Thank you for mercy and grace. Thank you for humbling our hearts, so we will understand the need for Your holiness. We will trust You all the days of our lives and find STRENGTH in the promise of Your everlasting love. And, we will learn how it feels to be very, very GRATEFUL. Amen
