Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7 NIV

God provides tenderhearted friends who put the needs of others before their own. He sends them to our lives when we need to be blessed by offerings of love and cradled in the care of their kindness.

God given friends share the love of Christ. They lead us in the right direction and recognize our needs. And, they pray! Even though we cannot hear their sweet exchanges with God, He strengthens us. He hears their pleas in our behalf and answers requests of the heart. He shows us why we are loved and reminds us to treasure the friendship in our lives.

“Friends are the family we find along the way.” We all need the support of a treasured confidant with a listening ear and a heart of love for Jesus. Now, more than ever, we need to know how it feels to love one another.

We are all in this world together. Much can be accomplished, if we share our burdens, joys, and humbly allow God to connect us with those who will truly make a difference.

Carry each others burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6: 2 NIV

Dear God, Thank you for friends and strength which comes when our burdens are lifted. Teach us to recognize the needs of others, so we will demonstrate the compassion of Christ and be a true reflection of His tender love. Amen
