I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4: 13

Often, we feel defeated as we move ahead in our lives. We forget to trust in Christ. He provides strength for those who feel weary. He teaches how to persevere and opens our eyes in moments to recognize the power of God's greatness.

Recently, I watched an ant trying to climb from a small pool of water. I was amazed at the power of his strength! He carried something much larger than himself on his back and would have drowned if he stayed in the water. But, he kept on trying; moving along, struggling to climb to the safety of the solid ground where he survived!

Many feel hopeless and look for ways to carry their loads. They tread water and are unable to swim through feelings of worry and doubt. Their burdens are heavy to carry and they forget where to find needed strength.

God knows our hearts. He knows our every thought. He reminds us we do NOT have to struggle alone. He reaches out to rescue us from troubled waters and provides the strength we need to persevere. He leads us to higher ground and helps us keep on going...

Christ will help us, when we surrender our fear and believe in His power to save. He will move us where we will feel the mighty power of God and He will remind us; He will do great things, if we faithfully believe. He will strengthen us!

God will help us find HOPE, when we're willing to preserve and trust in Him. Our attitudes will move from hopeless to hopeful, when we begin to understand we can do ALL THINGS through Christ who gives us strength. Even if faith is as small as an ant, God will help us. We must prayerfully be patient and work hard to move along! God already knows where we will arrive.

Dear God, Thank you for moments to reflect on the power of Your love and find strength in the promise of Your faithfulness. We will open our eyes to Your will and embrace Your presence in our lives. We will trust You to move us along. And, we will gratefully welcome the HOPE we need to to persevere. Amen
