I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them. Isaiah 42:16 NIV

Jesus wants us to walk with Him, but often we become blinded in unfamiliar territory. We forget to trust the One who knows where we’ll arrive. We have difficulty focusing on what’s ahead and need to be reminded God knows the path of purpose for our days.

Christ longs for us to see what waits to be discovered, when we’re ready to be led. He opens our eyes to God’s greatness and prepares us to remember there WILL be detours ahead. He guides us around the obstacles of life and reminds us to “hold on tight”, when we need to be lifted by love.

We must learn to trust the One who already knows where we will travel. “If He leads us to it, He will lead us through it” if we faithfully follow. He will pull us from the empty spaces of darkest doubt and shine the light of HOPE as we travel. And, He will prepare us for the bumps in the road, when we need to discover God's strength.

God knows exactly where we’re going. We must believe the journey will be better, if we faithfully follow and recognize we will NEVER have to travel alone.

Lord, you have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence. Psalm 16:11

Dear God, As we walk ahead in our lives, guide us on the path which leads to You. YOU love us and provide for our needs. Open our eyes, so we will be reminded to seek Jesus with all of our hearts. And, help us never forget who will handle EACH and EVERY moment of our days. Amen
