May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word. Thessalonians 2:16

Christ reminds us we are loved by God. Our Father gives eternal encouragement and hope. He strengthens our hearts by the gift of His grace and provides the way for us to remember nothing can separate us from His love.

On Father’s Day, we remember our dads. Memories can be glorious and meaningful but they can be difficult and sad. God knows the needs of those separated from a father. He sees empty holes of the heart. He bandages them with love and gives strength to the brokenhearted.

God prepares us to honor our dads and embrace moments which have brought us joy. He fills us with a loving heart of thanks, as we consider the impact they have had in our lives. And, when we cannot be together, He guides our thoughts as we rely on memories to sustain.

God knows how it feels to love. Our Heavenly Father wants us to know Him as Lord of our lives. He takes care of His children. As we faithfully learn to trust, He reminds us we are NOT alone. He blesses us with wonderful memories and precious moments to share. May we embrace them with grateful hearts, as we honor our fathers and take time to remember how very much they are loved.

Thank you, God for our fathers. We honor them with our love and gratefully thank you for the precious, precious memories. Amen
