Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. Prov. 3:5&6

Jesus uses tender moments to draw us nearer. He knows the heart of our need and sees the human side of sadness. In moments to remind us we’re not alone, He whispers, “I am here” and bandages our wounds of weakness. He holds us. And while we are sheltered in compassion and care, He reminds us why we need the Father.

Life will continue to disappoint. At some time, we will feel frustration and despair. We will not find content in what the world has to offer. But, God will provide the presence of  strength. Life will change, but He will not!

God understands our circumstances. He knows what will happen next. He fills us with the power of peace and comforts us. Calm will come when we learn how it feels to TRUST. When we surrender to Him, He will help us persevere. He will help us become stronger than before. And, He will show us why we are worthy and capable of doing great things.

God will not move us ahead, until He’s readied us for what’s to come. His timing is not our own. He has plans for our days. When one door closes, we must patiently wait and believe God knows what He is doing…We must BELIEVE and be ready to welcome content, when we have learned how it feels to totally trust.

Dear God, Thank you for knowing our every need. Teach us to be patient while we wait for Your will to be revealed. We will find strength in You and welcome the HOPE You provide, when we learn how to put our TRUST in You. Amen
