He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. Psalm 107:29 NIV

When we’re in the midst of a storm, it often feels like we won’t make it to the safety of the shore. Water rises, and it becomes hard to stay afloat. But, Jesus guides us from waves of worry and reminds us why we must always have faith to hold on.

God has a plan for our days. We won’t always recognize the timing of His will or understand how He will choose to guide us. But, He will give reason for us to trust, even in the eye of a storm.

When we have been guided by mercy and grace, Christ will provide hope for those who long to be rescued. He will cradle us in care and remind us how it feels to be held by the strength of His holiness. He will carry us and set our feet on solid ground. And, He will help us remember, we will NEVER be without the strength of His love.

God will remind us who is in charge of ALL things. He will handle in our days. He will help us remember; peace will come when we discover how it feels to truly trust.

Dear God, Thank you for your everlasting love. Only You are mighty enough to help us find peace in the storms. Forgive us when we forget to trust in the power of Your will and open our hearts to receive You. We will gratefully allow peace to lead us to a place of calm. And, we will never forget, You are worthy of our love, in EVERY  situation. Amen
