If you will humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, in His good time He will lift you up. Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you. 1 Peter 5:6-7 TLB

JESUS finds the way to humble our hearts and reach us. In tender moments of truth, He teaches why He must be GREATER in our lives. He leads us to the Father. And, when our hearts have been renewed, He guides us to the cross and helps us remember why He painfully took our shame. 

He is the ultimate example of humility! Jesus humbled Himself to death on the cross and God exalted Him. In moments to recognize mercy and grace, we become aware of God’s awesome power and understand why we need the presence of His PEACE.    

When we glorify God, we learn to HUMBLE our hearts. He helps us see how it feels to TRUST in His guiding of our days. He grows us in His greatness and shows how it feels to be led. He paves the way to discover what He will provide. 

God will show us how to cast our cares on Him. He will eliminate our worries, if we surrender in weakness and patiently wait to find STRENGTH in the promise of His everlasting love.

Dear God, in moments to feel the depth of Your love, we cast our cares on You. Thank you for Jesus! He humbles our hearts, as we’re led to the cross and helps us find PEACE when we need it. We will gratefully allow ourselves to never forget; You really WILL handle ALL things, if we surrender our worries and fix our eyes on YOU.  Amen
