Walls provide shelter and protect us from the outside. They hold us in a place of purpose. But, often, we become too comfortable in our own space. We hide behind doors of doubt and are afraid to discover what waits on the other side.
It can be comforting to live inside the walls we create for ourselves,
but God wants us to experience so much more! He readies us to serve Him
with a heart of HOPE and longs for us to see how it feels to step from
our comfort zone.
Jesus readies us to discover the power of God’s strength. He helps us examine our hearts and understand we have been created to do great things! He sees behind the walls we build and knows how to nurture a fearful heart inside…
He helps us recognize what is missing and teaches why we must learn to trust. And, when we prayerfully ask to be led by His greatness, He renews us! He arms us with everything we need to receive God’s love, so we will never be afraid to follow.
God will show us we are worthy of mercy and grace. He will remind us we CAN do great things. But, we must prayerfully allow Him to remove the walls we have built. And, we must BELIEVE He will open doors of opportunity, if we ready our hearts and humbly learn to TRUST.
Dear God, Thank you for Your everlasting love. Thank you for knowing our every thought and need. Forgive us when we hide behind doors of doubt. Tear down the walls of worry and help us see what's ahead. We will love You with all of our hearts, as we faithfully remember to TRUST. Amen
