Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will give us later. Romans 8: 18 TLB

God’s will was fulfilled when Christ chose His path and suffered. Jesus led the way to the hill where He would die. The weight of the world rested on His shoulders. In obedience to God, He demonstrated LOVE for each and every one of us.

Sometimes, we don’t think of passion as suffering. But when we prayerfully seek the Savior and reflect on ALL He has done, we begin to understand Jesus willingly accepted God’s will. In Him we see passion for God.

God knows our suffering. When we humble our hearts for Him, the passion of Jesus becomes clearer. As we seek the Savior, God provides the way to recognize the power of His greatness. He teaches how it feels to trust. He helps us recognize our need for His direction in our lives and shows  how to faithfully believe in what’s to come.

The path will not always be easy, but God will be with us! He will remind us to always TRUST. We will never experience the depth of suffering Jesus endured. The One who died in our place proved how much we are loved. God will provide mercy and grace. We will find strength in the Father and He will help us understand why we must put our HOPE in Him.

Dear God, Thank you for your love. Help us find HOPE in the passion of Jesus. Humble our hearts so we will understand the depth of Your greatness. And, help us remember; what we endure will bring honor to You, if we gratefully trust in the power of Your will and never forget what's to come. Amen
