Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2  

God is in charge of ALL things. He helps us recognize the power of His presence. And, when we need to be reminded there is strength within, He helps us understand what we live makes us stronger. He places faith where peace will dwell and sets the stage for what’s to come...   

Christ leads us to the Father. When we have learned to faithfully trust, He provides moments to be reminded we are not alone. He helps us feel His strength within and provides the way to carry on. He gives us courage! And, He nurtures our belief that everything will work according to His plan.         

God shows how it feels to be nurtured by amazing grace. He humbles our hearts in the presence of peace and shows how to receive Him. He demonstrates the depth of His love. He gives strength to the weary and increases power of the weak. He readies us for the circumstances in our lives.  We must TRUST in Him and look for moments to be reminded He IS with us. He really WILL handle every moment of our days.  

Dear God, Thank you for Your loving presence in our lives. Forgive us when we stumble and forget to trust. Humble our hearts, as we wait to be filled with perfect peace and help us remember why strength will come, if we put our hope in You. Amen
