Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4: 6-7 NIV

The mighty Creator of heaven and earth knows the plans He has for our days. There is purpose in ALL He provides. He readies us to receive His offering of love as we faithfully learn to surrender the worries of our hearts.

Life is uncertain. We question what will happen next and often become weary in our wonder. But, in moments to remind us who is working for the good, Christ teaches to trust in the Father. He blesses the heart of our faithfulness and reminds us to believe in the One who WILL handle our days.

Jesus opens the eyes of our hearts. And, while we are held in peace, He cradles us in care. He shows how to focus on strength from the Father and helps us learn to put our HOPE in Him.

If God created heaven, earth and EVERY living thing, surely He will create desire in us to recognize why we must be faithful and TRUST. He will allow peace that passes all understanding to fill our hearts with the power of His love. And, He will remind us why He will handle every single thing.

If we begin our prayers in praise, God will guard our hearts. He will wake us to discover how it feels to be armed by His holiness. He will hear our offerings of love; even when they’re spoken in our broken hallelujahs. And surely, He will give us strength to endure.

Dear God, Thank you for helping us recognize the power of Your everlasting love. You provide HOPE in every season of our lives and help us understand where to find strength. Before we worry about the happenings of this day, help us remember who’s in charge of ALL things. Fill us with HOPE as we surrender our fear and cling to the power of Your greatness. We WILL rise with a grateful heart of hope and remember to TRUST, even when we’re afraid. And, we will find peace in the calm of a grateful heart. Amen
