Here is what I am commanding you to do. Be strong and brave. Do not be afraid. Do not lose hope. I am the LORD your God. I will be with you everywhere you go. Joshua 1:9 NIRV
Christ provides strength for our weakness. He shows how to examine our lives and trust in the power of love. He arms us with courage to battle our fear and carries us through difficult days of wonder.
Often, we face challenges and wonder how to persevere. But, Jesus
shelters us. And, while we are cradled in care, He shows us how to
weather the storms. He pulls us from depths of doubt and reminds us to
hold on tight. He lifts us to the Father and opens the eyes of our
hearts, so we see the power of His greatness.
Sometimes, we will be afraid! But, God will guide our thoughts. And, when we prayerfully seek Him, He will give wisdom to handle our days. He will help us remain faithful and provide needed peace. He will anchor us in love and give courage to remember who is handling our days.
If we cling to the love of His faithfulness, we will be able to hold on tight! God will strengthen us. He will prepare us for what’s to come. He will show us how to be faithfully brave. And, He will help us remember that Christ IS with us. We must trust Him and never doubt His ability to save.
Dear God, Thank you for Your presence. Teach us to trust in the power of Your will and find HOPE in Your guiding of our days. Help us persevere, so we will be reminded who is handling our weathered days of doubt. Show us how to remain faithful, so we will understand what it means to TRUST. Please let us not forget who has the power to calm the storms. Amen
