“If the LORD delights in a man's way, he makes his steps firm; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.” Psalm 37:23-29 NIV 

God makes us aware of His presence in our lives. He opens our hearts and leads us on a journey of faith. He knows what we carry and helps us balance the load. And, if we stumble and fall, He picks us up and reminds us to keep on going…

Sometimes, we pack too much and have difficulty carrying the weight. But, Jesus teaches to trust. He fills us with strength and shows how to surrender what cannot be held. He reminds us we are not traveling alone... 

Jesus helps us make room to discover the power of mercy and grace. He prepares us for what’s to come. He helps us remember we are cradled in care and sets our feet on solid ground when we have been filled by His greatness. 

When we are prepared to step ahead, God will reveal His will. He will guide and provide all of our days, as we faithfully learn to follow. And, when we have been readied to recognize we don't have to handle life on our own, He will make our path clearer. God will open our eyes to the promise of peace. He will remind us why the journey ahead will be so much easier, if we choose to travel with Jesus. 

Dear God, We are grateful to walk with Jesus! Fill us with courage, as we travel together. Help us find peace to remember You already know where we will arrive. Humble our hearts, so we will surrender our burdens and welcome what’s to come. We will serve You with a heart of thanks and find strength in the arms of Your everlasting love. Amen
