Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 MSG

Christ shows how to embrace a grateful heart. He knows how to guide us to a prayer of praise. And, when we come before the presence of peace, He helps us recognize the gifts of His mercy and grace. He places joy in our hearts and shows where to find it. As we learn to trust in the power of love, He fills us with peace that passes ALL understanding and helps us learn to totally trust.

Some days we will not feel thankful. Circumstances will rob us from remembering who’s in charge of our days. But, Jesus will guide us back where we belong. In tender moments of truth, He will cradle us in care and hold us in a place of calm. He will lift us to the Father and demonstrate how to experience the wholeness of a grateful heart.

There is purpose in what God chooses for our days. He will prepare us to witness His timely rewards. He will bless those who choose to receive them. And, when we are faced with difficulties, He will share the gifts of His greatness;. He will help us remember why His strength is made perfect in weakness. He will provide courage to calmly carry on...

When God has filled us with love, we will appreciate EVERYTHING He has done. He will reveal what waits to be discovered. He will help us find strength in the depth of His holiness and fill us full of everything we need. He will create desire to recognize why we should be grateful.

Let us praise Him for waking us to another day of life and find reason in our hearts to love Him more! He is a good, good Father! He loves each and every one of us!

Dear God, Thank you for the power of Your love. You are mighty, holy and true. Help us understand how it feels to find strength in Your presence of Your peace. Humble our hearts, so we will recognize You are deserving of praise. And, help us remember why we should ALWAYS be grateful for Your mercy, grace and endless love. Amen
