He says, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." Psalm 46:10

“Jesus is exalted at the right hand of God. But, one day He will be exalted in the earth; the very place where He was despised and rejected, crucified and slain.”

As we take time to reflect on the One who died in our place, Christ humbles us. In moments to be reminded of strength within, He fills us with love and eliminates distractions that rob our calm.

Often, we get caught up in the business of life. We become weary in hectic moments of routine. We don't give God what He deserves or remember to honor Him with prayers of our praise. We struggle to find time to be grateful for His greatness.

But in our need to love Him more, God grows us. He shows how to humble our hearts. He readies us to receive what He provides. He covers us in grace and helps us remember why we NEED the Savior. And, He opens our eyes in truth, when we feel His presence of STRENGTH.

God has a plan for our days. He will lead us by His will. If we acknowledge Him as Lord of our lives and seek Him with all of our hearts, He will place calm where it belongs. He will lead us to a prayer of praise. He will dwell in our hearts and help us see why we need Him. He will allow us to feel His presence. He is God! He is HERE. He will help us learn to  SLOW DOWN, so we will know how to welcome the Savior.

Dear God, Thank you for Your mighty presence. As we open our hearts to the guiding of Your will, silence our distractions as we learn to be still. Strengthen us with Your power of love. We will open our hearts for the gifts of Your greatness. Lead us where we will experience the joy of peace, as we honor You with our praise. And, help us find strength to remember how very much we are loved. Amen
