“Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another, “Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.” Luke 8:25 NIV 

Winds of furry will rob our strength and disrupt the calmness of our souls. When they test our strength within, Jesus will command them to be still. He will cradle us in care and help us understand why we must hold on tight. 

There will be moments we will be shaken. Our faith will be tested and we will forget who’s in charge of ALL things. But God will help us remember who takes care of our days. He will provide HOPE for those who choose to TRUST.

God will not put us in situations we have to handle on our own. He will take care of us. As we learn to trust in Him, He will increase our strength. He will anchor us by the power of His love and help us remember why we must always remain faithful. 

Dear God, Thank you for being in charge of our days. Thank you for Jesus. Lead us where we will find opportunity to stand in Your presence of peace and hold on tight. When the winds of furry shift us from where we stand, help us not be moved by fear. We will love You with all of our hearts and faithfully remember who will always take care of Your children. Amen
