Teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90: 12 NIV

Sometimes, we need to be reminded who has already planned our days. We forget to ask for wisdom from the One who waits to guide.
God pulls us toward His greatness, but often we don’t feel His mighty arms of strength. We try to handle life on our own and forget who’s in charge of ALL things.

God handles our days. He longs for us to allow the Savior to navigate our steps. He shows us how to seek Him with all of our hearts and prepares us to remember why the journey will be easier if we humbly choose to obey.

Psalm 39:4-5 says, “Show me, LORD, my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is. You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Everyone is but a breath, even those who seem secure."

We will not live on this earth forever. God loved us enough to send Jesus to the world; not to condemn, but to bring HOPE for eternal life. If we pray for wisdom and turn from our selfish ways, God will show us how to honor the love of His faithfulness. He will help us remember Christ is the way to the Father. He will grow us and allow us to do amazing things…

God is worthy of our love! If we respond to His tugging of our hearts and choose to listen, He will help us gain a heart of wisdom. God is great! He is good. He will handle our days and prepare us for what’s to come. We must prayerfully seek Him and choose to totally trust. He will guide us EVERY day of our lives and bring peace to the heart of our gratefulness.

Dear God, Thank you for moments to feel the power of Your strength. We will find hope as we’re guided by Your WORD. Thank you for what You provide for our lives as we’re guided by You. Help us fix our eyes on Jesus, so we will embrace a heart of wisdom and understand why we don’t have to figure out life on our own. Amen
