Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will give us later. Romans 8: 18 TLB

God’s will was fulfilled when Jesus chose His path and suffered. Jesus led the way to the hill where He would die. The weight of the world rested on His shoulders. In obedience to God, He demonstrated LOVE for each and every one of us.

Sometimes, we don’t think of passion as suffering. But when we prayerfully seek the Savior and reflect on what He has done, we begin to understand why Jesus willingly accepted God’s will. In Him we see passion for the Father.

The passion of Jesus becomes much clearer, as we consider He died and rose again. As we seek the Savior, God humbles our hearts and allows us to trust in the power of His plan. He shows how to find direction in our lives and waits for us to faithfully follow.

The path won't always be easy, but God IS with us! He will remind us where to find strength. We will never experience the depth of suffering that Jesus endured. The One who died in our place proved how much we are loved. God will cover us with mercy and grace. And, because of Jesus, we WILL find HOPE, in every situation of our lives.

Dear God, Thank you for your love for us. Help us find HOPE in the passion of Jesus. Humble our hearts so we will understand what it means to suffer. Help us persevere and bring honor to You, as we gratefully find HOPE in the promise of Your everlasting LOVE. Amen
