Sometimes, we underestimate the power of God and forget we were created for His great purpose. We feel inadequate, weak and wonder how to serve Him with a heart of trust. But, Christ finds the way to remind us we are capable of doing great things.
When we cooperate with the spirit of Jesus, He transforms us. He
restores our souls and brings peace in the presence of His love. He
takes away fear which robs us of content and shows how it feels to carry
on. As we learn to surrender, He reminds us strength comes
from the calm of a grateful heart.
“Anxiety is the great modern plaque. But faith can cure it!” We have tremendous power within ourselves to realize Christ is bigger than our fear! He squelches the beast of burden that tries to steal our joy. He knows how to guide us back where we belong. He helps us find strength to keep on going...
The Bible says, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12: 9
God will allow us to see ourselves as He sees us; capable and equipped to do great things. He will remind us why we are worthy of love. He will place peace in our hearts and help us remember to trust in the timing of His will. And, He will show us how it feels to welcome the calm of a grateful heart.
Dear God, Thank you for leading us by Your will. Forgive us when we allow fear to steal Your joy. Fill us with strength and prepare us to discover peace in the presence of good. We will love You all of our days and surrender the worry of doubt. We will honor YOU with a heart of love, as we begin this day in PRAISE and open our hearts to receive the power of Your strength. And, we will remember why YOU are so much BIGGER than our fear. Amen
