~This morning I am thinking of my beautiful friend, Tammy who is preparing to earn her eternal reward. May God bless those who are truly closest to Him. May He bring peace, comfort and strength to the families of those who will soon be saying "goodbye." ~

Even when walking through the dark valley of death I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me, guarding, guiding all the way. Psalm 23: 4 TLB

When we are preparing for some of the hardest moments of our lives, God readies us to lay our burdens down. He knows about our suffering and reminds us why we must faithfully trust. He gives peace that passes all understanding and helps us remember LOVE BEARS ALL THINGS.

The Bible says, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Death separates us from the world, but it cannot separate us from the love of God. He provides strength to remember there IS eternal hope because of Jesus. And, when it’s time for our loved ones to let go, He gives peace to remember FAITH handles our fear.

Jesus frees us from the fear of death. He became a man, so He could die for our sin. He rose again and promised eternal life for those who believe in His power to save. God will raise our bodies from the dead and make them new, healthy, and strong.

God knows how long we will remain on earth. We can’t possibly predict when we will take our final breath. But, we can use the days we’re given to use our voices in praise, and confess our love for Jesus. When God calls us home, we will see Christ in His glory! None of us can begin to imagine what wonderful things are waiting in the timing of His LOVE.

Dear God, Thank you for my beautiful friend and the many others who are preparing to come home. Thank you for the comfort we feel in the presence of Your peace. We know there is strength in Your power over death. Give us courage to find hope in the promise of Your everlasting love. And help us remember why LOVE BEARS ALL THINGS. Amen
