These trials are only to test your faith, to show that it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold. And, your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold. So if your faith remains strong after being tried by fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor, on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. 1 Peter 1:7
God watches how we manage our lives. He handles every moment of our days. He knows how to lift us with His arms of strength when pressure builds and we need to be held by His love. But sometimes, we try to deal with difficulties on our own and forget how it feels to TRUST.
The Bible says, “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of
various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces
steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may
be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:2-4
God nurtures our faithfulness. He uses moments of surrender to fill us with peace. And, in troubled times of need, He reminds us who's in charge of ALL things. He guides and provides for our days and arms us with everything we need to remember we are not alone.
If we humble our hearts and allow ourselves to be led by His power of strength, God will use the trials in our lives to grow us. He will help us find reward from the love of our faithfulness. And He will remind us why there will never be a day without His love.
God will strengthen us! We must TRUST in the power of His will. He will place joy in our hearts and show us how to discover peace in His presence. We can face this day with the promise of better things to come. God WILL handle every single thing. He will show us how it feels to be blessed with a grateful heart.
Dear God, Thank you for the presence of Your love. Forgive us when we allow trials to weaken our faith. We will trust in You and patiently wait to be led by Your faithfulness. And, in moments to be guided by the love of our faith, we will surrender the worries of our hearts and find reason to remember You WILL always take care of us. Amen
