Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is; His good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2 NIV
God provides purpose for our days. He helps us welcome the love of Jesus. He reminds us to never put our hope in empty promises or conform to patterns of the world. He helps us learn why we were created to be shaped by Him.
Jesus came
to a world of darkness. He is the light that shows where to go. He helps
us step toward the Father and clearly see the path that is good. He
asks us to patiently follow Him and walk in the faithfulness of love.
Jesus opens our eyes in truth. He guides us. He helps us find strength and learn to totally TRUST. He cradles us in care and provides PEACE when we need it. And, He helps us discover the POWER of His presence in our lives.
God knows how to take care of us. He knows our every need. We will NEVER find joy in what the world has to offer. Fleeting moments of earthly gain will NEVER compare to the fulfillment God provides. He will reward us, when we choose to prayerfully seek Him, surrender and obey.
God IS in control when circumstances change. He knows our suffering and pain. He knows how to bring us PEACE and fill us with abundant JOY. He knows how to LOVE with mercy and grace. He has a plan for our days. He takes care of His children.
God will renew our thoughts, so we will turn our eyes on Him and stop trying to find happiness in things that will NEVER make us full. We will become transformed, if we humble our hearts and truly BELIEVE who knows what's best for our lives...
Dear God, Thank you for waking us in the timing of Your will. Thank you for Jesus. YOU are our constant source of strength, peace, hope and JOY as we remain faithful on earth. Help us remember this is not our home. Remind us why Your love will never fail and help us stay focused on You. Renew us Lord. Help us examine our lives so we will not forget; there is eternal HOPE because of Jesus. We will TRUST in You...Thank you Lord, Thank you! Amen
