As we say goodbye to the last day of the year, perhaps we need to be reminded to simply say, “Thank you, God for carrying us through EVERY moment of 2018.” What a mighty God we serve! He is worthy of our love. And He is worthy of everlasting praise…
Sometimes, we’re afraid to look back and think about days that were
challenging. But, God helps us consider how far we have come. He allows
us to find HOPE in what He provides and helps us remember; even though
our lives will change, His everlasting love will not.
Something happens when we prayerfully PRAISE and humble our hearts for Jesus. The One sent to bring HOPE and PEACE nurtures our relationship with Him. He changes our hearts as we welcome His holiness and BELIEVE in His power to save.
Tomorrow, we will wake to new possibilities in the New Year. As we open our eyes to welcome the arrival of 2019, we mustn't forget God WILL do great things in our lives according to His power that’s at work in us.
If we begin our prayers in PRAISE, we will invite strength from the Savior and gratefully be reminded; God WILL handle ALL things, if we remain faithful and totally trust in the plans He has for our lives.
Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth! Make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise! Psalm 98:4 KJ21
Dear God, Thank you! YOU are the Provider of everything we need. Forgive us when we forget to welcome the presence of Your peace. We will make a joyful noise and honor YOU, as we begin this day in prayers of PRAISE. And, we will share the JOY You provide, as we discover how it feels to embrace the blessing of a GRATEFUL heart. Amen
