He says, “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be honored among the nations. I will be honored in the earth.” Psalm 46:10 NIRV
God waits for us to understand how it feels to witness the power of His strength. He longs for us to seek Him with a humble heart and welcome the gifts of His greatness. He helps us consider why we need the Savior and allows us to welcome the presence of peace.
Jesus helps us feel the depth of His holiness. And while we are humbled
by the need to love Him more, He shows how much He loves us. He helps
us learn to be still, so we will be blessed by the quiet time with Him.
“We must not be afraid of silence in prayer time. It might be that we are meant to listen, not to speak.” God will find the way to help us recognize He's near. But, we must be silent and still, so peace will set the stage for what's to come...
If we take time to examine our lives, God will provide what we need. He will remove distractions in our lives, as we’re held by His holiness. While we're cradled in care, He will remind us who is handling ALL things. He will restore us! He will arm us with everything we need and prepare us to faithfully TRUST.
The Bible says, Yes my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from Him. Psalm 62:5 NIV Let us remember these words of truth. Take time to be still in the presence of His everlasting love.
Dear God, Thank you for Your presence in our lives! Forgive us when we allow distractions to lead us far away from You. Help us learn to be still, so we will feel the power of Your mighty love. Fill us full of everything we need, before we choose to rise. And set the stage for what’s to come; so peace will prevail when we open our hearts for You. Amen
