May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. Psalm 20: 4 NIV
God knows the plans He has for His children. He covers us in mercy and grace. And when we choose to BELIEVE in the power of His greatness, He helps us recognize why we cannot live without His love.
Sometimes, we put our faith in other things and try to convince
ourselves we can handle life on our own. We plan our own agendas and
forget who manages our days. But God finds the way to remind us why we
must TOTALLY TRUST in Him. He humbles our hearts so we will examine our
lives and put our faith where it belongs.
God gives us desire to do what is pleasing to Him. He prepares us to serve Him with all of our hearts. He teaches us valuable lessons and gives strength to persevere. He guides and provides. And as we learn to be faithful, He makes our plans succeed.
When we stop trying to live on our own, God will show us amazing things! He will adjust our way of thinking as we focus on Him. He will transform us! He will place PEACE in our hearts and bless us in the timing of His will. There will never be a day we will be without the love of our Father.
God is mighty and worthy of praise! As we triumph in His holiness, He will help us stay on course. If we surrender the selfish side of want and listen to His tugging of our hearts, He will provide everything we need. He will place JOY where it belongs and fill us with desire to remember who is working in our days.
Dear God, Thank you for loving us through the selfish side of want. YOU know our hearts and You know what we need! Help us be patient in the timing of Your will. We will love YOU all the days of our lives and gratefully trust in the plans You have for each one of us. Thank you for giving us desire to find fulfillment in Your JOY that gives us strength. Help us remain faithful, so we will focus on You and recognize Your guiding in our lives. Amen
