Friends, Here is a picture of the precious man I visit each summer for our annual Dad and Daughters time at the beach. Sadly, this year he won't be able to make the trip with us. He fell recently and is in rehab recovering from injuries. We will enjoy visiting him there, but are sad that he won't be able to join us.

While I'm spending time with my sisters, I will be taking a break from my daily writing. I need time to replenish my soul and fill myself full of everything God provides when I'm still... The beach is my favorite place to rest and I'm always grateful to see how He inspires me in the midst of His greatness!

Life is fragile and precious. I'm glad our dad is receiving good care and working hard to strengthen his weakness. We look forward to spending time with him and with one another. We're so grateful for the gift of his love and his sweet insistence that we spend sister time together.

Thank you for your prayers. They are appreciated! I truly love writing each day, but am looking forward to taking a little time off. I'm sure God will inspire words to share at the beach...And of course I will share them with you, dear friends. God bless each and every one of you. Be still in His presence and always, always be grateful for the timing of His love.
