Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will give us later. Romans 8:18 TLB

God’s will was fulfilled when Jesus chose His path and suffered. Jesus led the way to the hill where He would die. The weight of the world rested on His shoulders. In obedience to God, He demonstrated LOVE for each and every one of us.

Sometimes, we don’t think of passion as suffering. But when we prayerfully seek the Savior and reflect on ALL He has done; we begin to understand Jesus willingly accepted God’s will. In Him we see passion for God.

God knows our suffering. As we prepare to welcome Easter, the passion of Jesus becomes more clear. As we seek the Savior, God provides the way to humble our hearts for His. He helps us consider if we will accept His directions and choose to faithfully follow.

The path will not be easy, but God IS with us! He will remind us to put our TRUST in Him. We will never experience the depth of suffering Christ endured. The One who died in our place proved how very much we are loved.

God will provide mercy and grace. And we will find strength in Him. Because of the resurrection, HOPE will fill our hearts with promise for what’s to come. Aren’t we lucky to have a Savior who loved us enough to take our sin and pain?

Dear God, thank you for the love You have for each of us. Help us find HOPE in the passion of Jesus, as we humble our hearts for You. Give us strength when we suffer and remind us You are HERE. We will remain faithful to remember Your will was fulfilled at the cross. And we will honor You with love as we gratefully acknowledge the glory of Easter every single day of our lives. Thank you, Lord! Amen
