And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9 NIV

We’ve made it through the first week of August and we pray for better days to come. The past months have been difficult, but God has remained faithful through the many changes in our lives. He continues to work for the good in every situation.

He knows our sadness. Covid-19 has taken lives, forever changed what we’ve known as ‘normal’ and left us feeling empty inside. But God fights our battles! He gives glimpses of hope for every situation. As we humble our hearts in appreciation of His presence in our lives, He covers the wounds of our weakness.

God carries us through uncertainty. He takes care of those He loves. He hears our prayers for mercy and knows the desire to keep our families safe. When we’re worried what will happen next, He helps us learn to be faithful. He provides PEACE in His presence and gives us courage to keep on going...

God will open our eyes to witness the fullness of TRUST. He will give STRENGTH for what’s to come. He will help us witness the power of His goodness in our lives. We must keep on praying and BELIEVE He will take care of each one of us.

God will help us remember who is working for the good, even when things don’t go as planned. He will be honored by the prayers of our praise. God WILL show how it feels to welcome a grateful heart. We must cling to His promises and welcome every season He provides. We WILL find refuge in His arms of strength, if we choose to hold on tight.

Dear God, Thank you for everlasting love. Forgive us when we forget who is working for the good. We will love You with all of our hearts and gratefully welcome Your presence. Open our eyes for all You provide, even when things don’t go as planned. Help us remember we are lucky to be loved by YOU. Thank you for hearing our prayers! We feel so much stronger when talk to you. YOU bring HOPE, COMFORT and REASSURANCE that better days will come. Thank you, Lord. Thank you! Amen
