He calms the storm and stills the waves. Psalm 107: 29

Sometimes, the sea of life carries us in waves of worry and leads us far away from the safety of solid ground. We face unfamiliar waters of uncertainty and try our best to bravely hold on.  

It’s easy to lose sight of where we’re going when we can’t see what’s ahead. Life becomes difficult when we have to work hard to stay afloat. But God reminds us HE is the One who carries us through the tides and tribulations in our lives.

When strong winds leads us far away from familiar calm, God lifts us with arms of strength and helps us find safety in Him. He whispers, “I am here” and reminds us why we are protected by His mercy and love.

  

God has the power to rescue us! He uses situations in our lives to strengthen our faith and remind us who’s in charge of ALL things. He sees inside the heart of those who long to be rescued and shows where to find peace, as we learn to TRUST. 

Life will carry us in waves of worry, but God will lead us safely to the shore. He will hold us close and remind us to be faithful. He will give us courage to ride out the storm.  

Dear God, Thank you for Your presence of PEACE. Lift us from waves of worry and strengthen us while we’re cradled in care. Lead us safely to the shore. When we’re standing on solid ground, help us recognize the power of Your greatness, so we will understand how it feels to be rescued by YOU. Thank you for loving us through difficult days. Thank you for making us aware of why we need YOU EVERY day of our lives. Amen
