With arms open wide, Jesus reaches out to lift us to a place of calm. As we quiet our hearts, He reminds us how to welcome the presence of His STRENGTH.
Burdens are often difficult to bear. But Jesus knows how to lighten the load. He lifts the weight from our shoulders and guides us in the right direction. He helps us learn to TRUST as we faithfully follow Him.
The Bible helps us walk in truth and scripture keeps us grounded. “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us” John 1:14. It speaks to our souls and helps us understand the depth of Christ’s amazing love.
Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there be any hurtful way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way” Psalm 139:23-24 NASB
Jesus longs for us to have a living relationship and recognize His presence of PEACE. If we invite Him to dwell with us forever; we will love a little deeper, grow much stronger and find courage to admit we are weak.
We will welcome a renewal of HOPE and find JOY as we’re gratefully restored. We can call on Jesus and allow Him to lead us on a path of righteousness. HE is what we need at Christmas and every single day of our lives.
Let us welcome the JOY of Christ! He is HERE and HE loves us! He is READY to dwell in our hearts forever. Imagine the HOPE that provides!
Dear God, Thank you for the POWER of Your holiness. Thank you for Jesus and the miracle of Christmas! Forgive us when we forget to step in faith and let worry rob our calm. Quiet our hearts, head us in the right direction and help us refocus on the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We will find JOY in Jesus and TRUST in YOU as we will welcome PEACE and HOPE. Thank you for nurturing our hearts and helping us remember WHY we need our Savior EVERY DAY of our lives. Amen
