There are many scriptures written about LOVE. Ephesians 5:12 speaks to the heart of those who recognize what it means to walk in love and be imitators of the One who created us to LOVE one another.
Jesus taught to share kindness with compassion. But often, we’re told to take care of “Number One”. We miss opportunities to share the love of Christ and truly see the heart of those who need to be lifted.
God gives us the ability to open our eyes and be used for His glory. He helps us witness the power of mercy and love. He shows how to reach out to others and reminds us to take time and PRAY.
As the world continues to create chaos, Jesus draws us closer to His love. He helps remember who was sent to save. He is the way, the truth and the life. We can speak to God in His name and find PEACE to remember HE is with us.
Now more than ever, we need to PRAY not only for ourselves, but for the requests of others. Perhaps while we pray, someone will be praying for us. Prayer binds us together with comfort and STRENGTH. It is what we need in these difficult days of wonder…
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 John 5: 14
Dear God, thank you for hearing our prayers. Forgive us when we forget to share the love of Jesus. Open our eyes, so we will recognize those who need to feel the strength of Your everlasting love. Help us remember what we do for others, we do for YOU. Thank you for helping us learn to care for one another. May we honor You with our LOVE and keep our promises to PRAY. Thank you, Lord. Thank you. Amen
