God readies us to move ahead and embrace the newness of what’s to come. He opens hearts to understand we don’t have to handle life alone. He grows our faith and helps us remember where HOPE is found. He reminds us we have been created to do GREAT things. 

At some point in our lives, we will recognize the need for God’s mercy. We will become aware of how anxious we have become. We will long to find PEACE in His presence and pray to feel the power of love. When He reveals the goodness of grace, it will humble us to remember we will always find STRENGTH in Him. 

Today is the perfect time to consider if something is missing in our relationship with Christ. He longs for us to feel the depth of His holiness. He guides us to the Father as we choose to follow Him and gives purpose to our days as we seek to find it. He helps us learn to be faithful.  

God has a plan for the future! We have no way of knowing what will encounter in the newness of this year. But we have the assurance HE IS WITH US, no matter what! Praying with a thankful heart will help us surrender fear and return JOY back where it belongs.   

When we experience the PEACE of God, we will never want to be without it. Amazing things will happen if we find courage to leave doubt behind. The Bible says, So, humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time He will lift you up in honor.  Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you. 1 Peter 5:6-7 NLT

God loves us! Why should we waste time stuck in the pressures of the past, when He promises HOPE for the future? He will guide and provide and help us see ourselves as He sees us; capable and able to embrace new beginnings!  We will honor Him if we open our hearts to witness His greatness and allow ourselves to be used for His glory EVERY day of our lives.  

Dear God, thank you for waking us with the power of Your love. Forgive us when we allow worry to rob the PEACE You provide. Thank you for loving us through last year! We are ready to make the necessary changes and TRUST in the plans You have for our lives. What a relief it is to know we can surrender fear and find STRENGTH in the presence of Your fullness. We will welcome 2021 and believe better days will come. We’re so grateful to know You have plans for our days. Thank you, Lord! Thank you for the love of Your faithfulness! Amen
