Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrew 11:1 NLT
Sometimes we question what will happen next and forget to be faithful and TRUST. We need to be reminded where to find STRENGTH and welcome PEACE from God's presence. He opens our eyes to experience the power of love and learn what it means to be faithful.
Faith is knowing without a doubt God IS with us, no matter what. He rewards us with blessings when we take time to look. He guides and provides for our days and opens our eyes for Jesus. He helps us focus on glimpses of good and BELIEVE better days will come.
Jesus met a man on His way toward Jerusalem. Bartimaeus sat on the side of the road calling for the Savior. He was blind and couldn’t see. But his voice was powerful! In the midst of a noisy crowd, he did NOT allow “be quiet” to silence him. He yelled for mercy and grace.
Jesus revealed the love of His faithfulness and performed a miracle. Bartimaeus received his sight. He was able to see! He was healed because he BELIEVED. In grateful offerings of praise, he chose to follow Jesus. Those who witnessed the miracle, praised our mighty God!
God WILL use circumstances in our lives to demonstrate the power of His greatness. When we’re blinded by the lack of faith, He WILL open our eyes to TRUST. He WILL move us through dreaded doubt and navigate bumps in the road. He will help us WANT to be FAITHFUL.
God will prepare us for whatever happens next. He already knows where we will arrive. We must BELIEVE in His promise to ready us for His will. God will help us be patient and gratefully wait. He will reveal His plan when the timing is right and reward the love of our faithfulness! There will never be a day without the goodness of His mighty love.
Dear God, Thank you for Jesus. We recognize the power of Your will, as we consider the many miracles He performed. We will TRUST in You as You help us remember who's in charge of our days. Thank you for glimpses of GOOD! They remind us YOU are here for each one of us. You place HOPE In our hearts and we are grateful! Thank you for helping us remain faithful to You. Amen
