The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm. Exodus 13:14 NLT

Jesus said, " Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Matthew 11:28-29 NLT

When we need to rest in His presence, Jesus pulls us from the worry of wonder. He silences distractions and helps us focus on what is good. He helps us discover what needs to be noticed as we learn to TRUST in Him.

We were never promised days without frustration or concerns. But Jesus loves us through each moment. He bandages sores of the soul and covers wounds of weakness. He draws us nearer to the promise of His love and gives us courage to battle fear.

Christ longs for us to desire the calm of perfect peace. He opens our eyes to find it. Sometimes we must examine our lives and be willing to admit we’re not strong. We don’t have to pretend with Jesus. He already knows what is carried in our hearts.

If we allow Him to share our burdens, He will remove the weight from our shoulders as we faithfully follow and TRUST. He will help us find wisdom, strength and guide us to the Father.

We don’t have to pretend with Jesus. He will help us stand in truth of what we believe! He will ALWAYS be here to walk with us when we choose to follow His lead. We don’t have to handle life on our own. There will never be a day without the compassion of His love. It will hold us together ALL of our days and give us great relief.

Dear God, Thank you for Jesus! Open our hearts for the goodness of His love so we will remember where to find courage and PEACE. In the messiness of life, lead us to the Savior so we will cope with HOPE and remember to totally TRUST. Thank you for STRENGTH. It keeps us going, even when it’s hard. Thank you for the power of Your love. It sets the stage for good to come and readies us to feel grateful. Thank you for mercy and grace. It covers us with everything we need. Thank you for taking care of us and those we love. Thank you for being a good, good Father. Amen
