God will heal your broken heart and bind your wounds. Psalm 147:2-5

Holidays bring excitement and joy, as we welcome our family’s home. This year will look different for those who won’t be spending Christmas with a loved one this year.

It’s hard when loss cuts deep and our hearts are empty and sad. But Jesus knows the depth of pain. He bandages wounds and covers sores of the soul. He holds us together so we will find STRENGTH and understand why LOVE BEARS ALL THINGS.

Those who have left in the arms of the angels have earned a wonderful reward. We tend to forget we are here for only a short while. But what God has prepared for us will last forever! Because of Jesus, we have the promise of eternal life and joining loved ones when God calls us home.

He will replace sorrow with courage and help us remember we are not alone. God will carry us through grief and provide PEACE that passes all understanding. We will be armed with everything we need to be remember “Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed and very dear.”

The baby born to a hurting world will shine the light of LOVE and fill us with HOPE to COPE. When we are sad and miss those who are no longer with us, Christ will help us overcome with the gifts of His greatness as we open our hearts to receive.

The Bible says, Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; Proverbs 3: 5 NIV The One who was born to die knows what we endure. He will help us find gratitude to have known how it feels to be treasured. ♥ God WILL comfort us as we TRUST Him to help us find find Christmas calm. He will warm us with the heart of His LOVE as we remember those who will remain in our hearts forever...

Dear God, Thank you for Jesus! Thank you for moments to be filled with compassion, comfort and LOVE. Arm us with strength and bandage wounds of weakness as we remember those who will not be forgotten. Thank you for loving us through grief and helping us welcome the GIFT of gratitude. Let it hold us together on Christmas and EVERY day of our lives as we faithfully TRUST in You. Thank you, Lord! Amen
