"Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth." Colossians 3:2 NIV

God created us for a purpose. He knows how to handle our days. He guides, provides and grows the heart of our faithfulness. He opens our eyes for Jesus and longs for us to know Him as Lord of our lives. He helps us recognize how to have a living relationship.

When we focus on other things to satisfy our wants, we begin to realize earthly rewards are fleeting. They will never allow us to experience the JOY of Jesus or truly embrace what God has in store for each one of us.

He longs for us to surrender the selfish side of want. God sets the stage for good to come. He helps us feel His presence. He turns prayers into praise and reminds us who’s in charge of our days.

God has a perfect plan! He knows what we need to receive the gifts of His greatness. He gives us desire to do what's pleasing to Him and provides what we need to accomplish goals. He helps us welcome His blessings.

The Bible says, “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” Proverbs 16:3 How good it is to know God holds the future. He draws us close to His love and provides glimpses of what’s ahead. He tugs at our hearts to be patient and wait while we learn how to grow.

“What consumes our minds will control our lives.” We will never find fullness on our own. God wants to take charge! Only He can save us from what we’ve been chasing and fill empty spaces of our souls.

There will never be a day without the power of His love. God will continue His work in us. Life will be easier if we remain faithful, choose to TRUST and embrace gratitude for His many blessings. He is God! He will ALWAYS take care of us and those we love.

Dear God, thank you for the power of Your greatness. Forgive us when we fill our hearts with things that will never make us full. We will welcome PEACE as wait to witness Your blessings and focus on the power of love. Thank you for JOY You provide as we faithfully wait to be readied for what’s to come. Thank you for showing us what faith will do when we TRUST and remember who's in charge of our days. Amen
